If You Can’t Work From Home…
Here’s a great alternative to working from home, bringing your baby to work.
I can see the raised eyebrows already but let me explain.
There are some workplaces that are baby-friendly. People work, they bring their babies, and that’s how it operates.
I think this is great for families and great for businesses as well. After all it lowers daycare costs, parents won’t be so reluctant to return back to work, more fathers could be involved, and I’d think employees would be happy to work for a company that was so supportive.
What about getting work done, what about if the baby cries, and isn’t that unprofessional?
I can’t say I have the answers because I’ve never seen it implemented but I don’t think it’s as bad as it may seem.
After all, people say the same thing (and more) about people who work from home.
If anyone has any experience with this I’d sure like to hear about it.
